    GLOBAL HPC/CDE/CDCES GRANT FUNDING PROGRAM

    We recognize the incredible work that Credential Diabetes Educators (CDE) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) are doing all over the world and we want to support their work helping people living with diabetes.

    Enter for an opportunity for 1 of 3 $1,500 grants available to Diabetes Nurse Educators who are making an impact.

    For Australia (and NZ), $1.5k;
    For Europe, $1.5k;
    For USA (+Canada), $1.5k.







      Healthcare professional

      Eligibility

      • – Be a practising CDE or CDCES.
      • – Be doing meaningful work in the diabetes community.
      • – Be practising within Australia, Europe or North America.

      How to Apply

      1. Enter your details;
      2. Tell us who you are, what you are currently doing, how you’d like to invest the $1,500 grant (it can be anything related to investing in the community or your education or conference);
      3. It can also be a submission for a colleague or clinic who you believe deserves the grant.

      Three winners will be announced in April (2026).

      FAQ

      Grants can be used for

      – Professional development (such as conferences, education costs)

      – Clinic facilities or resources (such as equipment or resources that can help you to keep doing
      the work you are doing; it could be used in setting up a new clinic)

       

      Ideas:

      – conference attendance;
      – education costs;
      – costs associated with clinic needs;
      – setting up a new clinic;
      – investing in a new idea that supports the diabetes community;
      – anything that relates to being a health care provider.

      Any nurse/clinician/professional (or friend of) who work in Australia, Europe or in North America.

      Nominations must be for;
      – a practising CDE/CDCES/Professional working within the diabetes space

      – doing meaningful work in the diabetes community and wants to expand their knowledge/practice.

      – practising within Australia, Europe or North America

      $4.5k AUD in total.
      $1,500 AUD for each winner from Australia, Europe & North America.

      Applications open February 2024 and close in 31st March 2025.

      Winners will be announced in April 2025.

      – Name of person completing entry
      – Email of person completing entry
      – Name of individual or clinic being submitted for application
      – Clinic address of individual or clinic being submitted for application
      – What are the applicant’s credentials (if a nomination, please state their working title or
      please state relevance of CDE/ CDCES role in the clinic)
      – Application message (200 words of less explaining how the individual or clinic is currently
      helping the diabetes community and how they could invest $1,500 to enhance this work)
