Our story, featured by Amazon Australia
We started with a practical problem: keeping a glucose sensor in place. For our founder, Pete Lomas, who lives with Type 1 diabetes, it was personal.
That experience became Not Just a Patch. In 2026, Amazon Australia featured us in a campaign celebrating Australian businesses and the people and ideas behind them.
Through a short film and photography, the campaign shares our beginnings and introduces the person behind the patches. We’re proud to see our story included.

A personal reason to get started
“I live with Type 1 diabetes, and keeping my continuous glucose monitoring sensor in place was a challenge I experienced myself. It’s what led me to create Not Just a Patch. That personal experience still shapes how I approach our business and the products we create. Having Amazon Australia tell our story is something I’m proud of, and I’m glad to share it with you.” Pete Lomas, Founder, Not Just a Patch
What Amazon Australia says
“Amazon’s campaign celebrates the ambition and ingenuity of the thousands of Aussie businesses selling in our store. Not Just a Patch is one of the businesses we were proud to feature, alongside other founders turning innovative ideas into products for customers in Australia and around the world.” Amazon Australia
